Stamp Anniething Lemonade Stand

Stamp Anniething Lemonade Stand by Lisa Mears

Hello!

On my blog today I’m featuring a card I made using Stamp Anniething’s Lemonade Stand bundle. This company is new to me. I first saw them at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Orlando, Florida on May 17, 2019. Their stamps are amazing! I picked up the Lemonade Stand bundle which includes a stamped doll image and many other stamps and die cuts to go along with it. Check out my video which shows everything that is included in the bundle and the process for which I made the card. Enjoy!

Love Heart Card

Love Card with Heart Final

Hello!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day or just to say “I love you,” this card is so beautiful with its vibrant colors.

First, I die cut the heart shape from the heart die in the Heart Background – Limited Edition die set from The Stamps of Life. I die cut it using Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Smooth Paper Pad.

Step 1

Next, I water colored the heart using Spectrum Sparkle markers. The colors I used were solar red, emerald green, and blue topaz. After I put some color down, I used a paint brush with a small amount of water to spread the color on the heart.

Step 2

Next, I used the center heart die cut and layered it inside of the big heart and die cut it onto white card stock. Before die cutting, I put double-sided adhesive on the opposite side of the card stock. This made it easier to adhere cut piece in the next step.

Step 4

Next, I peeled the heart away from the adhesive and adhered it onto the colored heart.

Using the same water color method as described above, I colored with the solar red Spectrum Sparkle marker onto the Bristol Smooth paper and spread the color onto the paper using a water brush. Next, I die cut the shadow layer of the Love die from the Love Statement Set from The Stamps of Life.

Next, I used the Love word die and die cut using white card stock. Before die cutting, I put double-sided adhesive onto the back of the white card stock which made it easier to adhere to the shadow layer. (Note: In case you are wondering, the shadow layer of the Love die cut in the picture below is a slightly darker pink than the one on the finished card because I actually die cut the Love piece twice to create two identical pieces for two cards. It shows darker here because for this die cut, I applied more ink onto the paper.)

Using Ocean card stock from The Stamps of Life, I cut an A2 size card base. Next, using the Hooray patterned paper pad from The Stamps of Life, I die cut a piece of patterned paper using the large stitched rectangle die.

Step 3

I adhered the stitched rectangle piece of patterned paper to the front of the card base. Next, I adhered the heart on top of the rectangle piece and then I adhered the Love statement to the bottom right corner and ended with a pink bow at the top of the card.

For the inside of the card, I die cut a large stitched rectangle from Candy card stock and stamped the sentiment from the Love Statement Set.

Valentine’s Day Card Using Squirrels2Love from The Stamps of Life

squirrels2love_red

Hello! Here’s another Valentine’s Day card that I made using products from The Stamps of Life. I just love their stamps and these cute squirrels are no exception!

I die cut the card base from the Sizzix Regal Stand-Ups Card Die Set using strawberry card stock from The Stamps of Life. Next, I die cut the front panel and bottom panels as shown using the patterned paper from the Sweetheart collection.

Stephanie, the owner of The Stamps of Life, does an awesome job showing us how to put the card base together. (Click here for directions: Sizzix Regal Stand-Ups Card Die Set Instructions)

Using the Squirrels2Love stamp set, I stamped the images using Lawn Fawn’s Premium Jet Black Ink Pad, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, and then die cut the images using the corresponding die set, Squirrels2Love Dies.

The boy squirrel is holding flowers in his hand, but I decided to cover the flowers with hearts to make it look like heart-shaped balloons for Valentine’s Day. I die cut the hearts from the Jar2Stamp Dies using the same patterned paper from the Sweetheart collection as I used for the layering pieces of the card base. Once the three hearts were die cut, I adhered them on top of the original flowers from die cut stamped image.

The heart border and the “Love You” dies are from the Sizzix Heart Step-Ups Card Die Set. Using the same strawberry card stock as the card base, I die cut the heart border and and the shadow layer for the “Love You” die cut. The pink card stock for the words “Love You” are from the same pink paper as was used for the heart balloon. I do want to add that I put tape adhesive on the card stock before running it through the die cut machine to make it easier to adhere to the card.

Here is the same card using different Valentine’s papers that I had in my stash.
