Sympathy Card with Ink-Blended Background

Sympathy Card with Lighthouse and Ink-blended background

Hello! Today I am sharing a sympathy card. I ink-blended the background with Cantaloupe, Lemonade, Sunshine, Banana, Tangerine, Midnight, and Blueberry inks. I stamped the lighthouse from the Lighthouse2Stamp set and colored it with my Copic markers. The stamped image doesn’t have stripes, but I added stripes to mine. The sentiment is from the Sorry4YourLoss set. To see a tutorial of how I made this card, watch my YouTube video here.

Supplies:

  1. Inks – Cantaloupe, Lemonade, Sunshine, Banana, Midnight, and Blueberry
  2. Cardstock: Cranberry, Midnight
  3. Bristol Smooth Cardstock
  4. Lighthouse2Stamp
  5. Lighthouse2Stamp Dies
  6. Sorry4Your Loss stamp
  7. Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Cardstock (for alcohol marker coloring)
  8. Spectrum Noir Finesse Noir Black Ink
  9. Art Glitter Glue
  10. Copics – Rock – C3, C4, C5, C6, C8, C9, C10/ Red – R21, R22, R24, R27, R29/ Yellow – Y13, Y15, Y17/ Gray Stripes C0, C1, C2, C3, C4

    1. Hi Gloria. For the turtle cards, I used Copic markers. You can get them on Amazon, Michaels, Joann’s (online), and Hobby Lobby. If you just want a few markers, you can purchase them individually, however, Amazon usually has sets of markers, but you need to make sure that the colors you want are in the set you purchase.
