Gift Box Card

Gift Fold-It with Box-it Die_Front

Hello!

Today on my blog I am sharing another box card that I made using dies from The Stamps of Life.  Once again, I made this as a birthday gift that I needed to have ready quickly so I couldn’t find a better way to present a card and gift card so easily and uniquely.

For this project, I used the Sizzix Gift Fold-it by Stephanie Barnard at The Stamps of Life (Sizzix #661844). First, I used the die to make a fold-it card. The fold-it card is my front piece. The recipient can open the card to see the message.

Next, I used the die to make another gift panel, but this time I did not make it as a card. Instead, I made it as one gift panel. The back is one solid gift panel.

For the box portion in the middle, I used The Stamps of Life Box-It die. To view instructions on how to put this all together, view Stephanie Barnard’s video here: Box-It Die Tutorial.

The “Happy” die cut sentiment is from The Stamps of Life. The die cut comes with  several stamp sentiments that can be used along with it. I chose the “Birthday” stamp and stamped it with Seaglass ink in the inside card panel.

The balloon stamp is from the The Stamps of Life March 2019 card kit and was stamped with Guava ink.

The decorative paper is from the Party Girl 6 x 6 paper pad from Photo Play.

The green paper is Kiwi card stock and the card base is the Ocean card stock from The Stamps of Life.

The red paper and white paper are scrap papers that I had in my stash.

I used double-sided tape to adhere all of the pieces together, added some miniature chocolates, and a gift card to the center. Such a quick and easy way to present a gift!
